Why Choose Selerb NAD+ for Anti-Aging?
NAD+ is a critical coenzyme that supports energy metabolism, DNA repair, and cellular health. Research studies in NR & NAD+ Research Studies Summary However, NAD+ levels decline with age, so we need NAD+ supplements for healthy aging. The main ways to supplement NAD+ in the human body are as follows: Salvage Pathway: which is the main pathway, involving Nicotinamide Riboside (NR), Nicotinamide (NAM),and Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN). Preiss-Handler Pathway: This pathway mainly involves Nicotinic Acid (NA). There are various ways to supplement NAD+, and there are many NAD+ supplements available in the market. So, how do we choose the right one? Based on extensive scientific research and experiments, Selerb team chose Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) as the NAD+ supplement. Why? First, studies show that NR has no significant side effects on the human body and is safe for long-term use. Second, the molecular weight of NR is 256, which is smaller than that of NMN at 334, and NAD+ at 663. This means NR can enter cells more effectively and produce effects. Third, high doses of nicotinic acid (NA) may cause side effects called "niacin flush," which is a burning, tingling sensation in the face and chest, and red or flushed skin. So we do not recomend nicotinic acid(NA). And considering that, the FDA concluded that NMN is excluded from dietary supplement products in 2022. So, NMN and NA are not our choice. Also, NR has become the preferred NAD+ precursor for major brands, further validating its reliability and efficacy. This is why Selerb chose NR as the core ingredient to supplement NAD+. More importantly, Selerb’s synergistic formula also includes Q10 and Niacinamide to enhance healthy aging effects. This proprietary blend formula is called NADGENIE™, which is the pioneering third-generation NAD+ technology. For women’s skincare, grape seed extract, collagen, and hyaluronic acid have been added to enhance skin health and elasticity. For men, curcumin and arginine have been included to boost muscle health and long-lasting strength. These ingredients work synergistically with NR to deliver better healthy aging effects. They promote healthier skin, provide antioxidant protection, and enhance cellular energy and metabolism.

Why Cellular Energy Matters for Aging Gracefully
Your body is composed of approximately 37.2 trillion cells, and every single one of them plays a unique and critical role in keeping you alive and well. From your brain to your heart, from your gut to your fingertips, cells carry out essential physiological functions that keep your systems running smoothly. But for your cells to do their job—whether it’s transporting oxygen, repairing tissue, or fighting stress—they need energy. And that energy comes from the mitochondria, tiny organelles often called the “powerhouses” of the cell. Where Cellular Energy Begins: Mitochondria & NAD⁺ Mitochondria are responsible for generating about 90% of the body’s energy, converting nutrients into ATP (adenosine triphosphate)—the universal fuel for life. But here’s the catch: this energy conversion depends on a constant supply of NAD⁺ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), a coenzyme that fuels mitochondrial function. Without enough NAD⁺, your mitochondria can’t produce sufficient energy, and your cells begin to slow down. This energy loss is one of the hallmarks of aging, and it's why NAD⁺ is central to cellular vitality. NAD⁺ for Cellular Repair & Regeneration NAD⁺ isn’t just about energy—it also plays a crucial role in cellular repair. It activates important proteins like sirtuins, which regulate inflammation, stress response, and DNA integrity. Sirtuins require NAD⁺ to function, and without it, the body’s natural repair systems falter. Additionally, PARPs (Poly ADP-ribose polymerases), enzymes that help repair DNA damage caused by oxidative stress, are also NAD⁺-dependent. In essence, NAD⁺ is the key to both energy production and repair, helping your cells recover from daily wear and tear. Aging Starts When NAD⁺ Declines Unfortunately, NAD⁺ levels decline significantly with age—as much as 50% by age 40, and even more beyond. They’re also depleted by immune challenges, poor sleep, poor diet, and chronic stress. And as we grow older, our ability to produce new mitochondria decreases, putting even more pressure on existing ones. This gradual breakdown of cellular energy and repair systems is what we recognize as aging. Selerb’s Answer to Cellular Aging The good news? Mitochondrial health is not fixed. It can be supported through lifestyle—such as sleep, movement, and nutrition—and enhanced by smart supplementation. At Selerb, we offer clinically crafted NAD⁺ support formulas designed to: Replenish declining NAD⁺ levels Support mitochondrial energy production Activate cellular repair pathways Promote healthier aging at the root level—your cells With our 8-in-1 NAD⁺ blends, NSF-certified quality, and fast-acting ingredients, we help you take charge of your energy, clarity, and resilience—starting from within. Because longevity isn’t just about living longer. It’s about living better. Written by Selerb Health Team
